Our shower bombs are packaged in an airtight, moisture-resistant bag. If you plan on using another container, make sure it's airtight and moisture resistant as well.

To use, simply place the steamer tablet on the floor of your shower or tub, away from the drain and not in the direct stream of water. Breathe in as the tablet slowly dissolves and releases the essential oils into the air.

Each shower steamer blend is made using plant-based essential oils, along with some baking soda, citric acid and corn starch to achieve that fizzy melt-away goodness, and topped off with a bit of food-grade dye to add a pop of color. That’s it! All of our products are made in the USA with the purest essential oils, meaning the scents behind our aromatherapy blends come entirely from Mother Nature. Everything is handmade in small batches to ensure the highest quality, using mindfully sourced ingredients that are vegan, preservative-free and never include harmful additives or fillers like phthalates, parabens, synthetic fragrances, perfumes and chemicals.

Many other shower steamers on the market are made in China using synthetic chemical fragrances, which do not offer any health benefits like essential oils do (you’ll often see these artificial ingredients listed as “nature identical oil,” “fragrance” or “fragrance oil”). The Herbal Zen’s products, on the other hand, are formulated and hand-batched with care by a pharmacist who switched careers to the world of natural wellness. All of our products are made using the purest essential oils, batched by hand by a small but mighty team in the quaint and funky neighborhood of Philadelphia called Manayunk. We truly are a made-in-the-USA business, and we take great care in using only the good stuff and none of the bad (you’ll never find us using synthetic fragrances, perfumes, fillers or chemicals!).

For a concentrated treatment, when you’re under the weather or needing an extra boost, drop a Shower Steamer in a hot bowl of water and breathe in the essential oil-infused steam. Place a towel over your head as you breathe in for maximum effect!

Some of our customers love using our Shower Steamers as an air freshener in their car. Simply poke some small holes in a 1-Pack or 2-Pack and place it under the driver’s seat. Enjoy the refreshing smell of essential oils on every drive!
